PATH designs studies and economic models to assess the clinical and cost-effectiveness of new and existing technologies. In conducting these studies PATH is active in the development of new methods and approaches for both trial-based and modelling-based economic evaluations.
Health Technology Assessment
PATH conducts systematic literature reviews and construct original economic models to assess the clinical and cost-effectiveness of new and existing technologies.
PATH designs and conducts clinical trials that reduce uncertainty around the effectiveness and cost-effective- ness of new and existing health technologies.
PATH collaborates with The Biostatistics Unit for assistance with routine and state-of-the-art statistical methods at various stages of the research process: planning, implementation, analysis and reporting.
